The 2017 work report is as follows:

I. Promoting archaeological excavation

Focus on the implementation of the excavation project of Tushan No. 2 Tomb. The yellow intestine wall of the tomb is fully exposed. The shape and structure of the tomb are basically revealed. According to the requirements of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, the relevant base units are entrusted to prepare and complete the 2017-2019 excavation plan and unearthed cultural relics protection plan. Report to the National Bureau for approval. The excavation work of the Dingzhuang kiln site in Jintan District, Changzhou, commissioned by the Provincial Archaeology Institute, was completed with high quality, and was awarded “Excellent” and so on.

In addition, other rescue archaeological excavations have also been carried out, mainly including the Ming and Qing cemeteries on Wuling Road in Taizhou, the Han Tombs of Jiawang Mashan, the Tombs of Ligui Shidai in Daizhuang, Pizhou, and the Han Dynasty Tombs in Gangshang, the Taiwang site of Jiawang Temple, The Golden Eagle Phase II project underground city site, Suqian Shuanggou winery site, and three Western Han tombs in Tiecha Mountain, etc. Investigation and exploration projects include Pei County "Lvmuzuzu", Confucian Temple Project, Lianxu Expressway Company Yanggui Shandong Project, Xuzhou The survey of the city's water cultural relic resources and the ruins of the tomb of E'feng in Feng County, etc.

II. strengthen the protection of cultural relics

Preparation of cultural protection programs: 5 cultural relics protection programs and 1 archaeological work program cultural protection plan were prepared throughout the year, 2 of which were approved by the State Cultural Relics Bureau and the Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau, and 1 was reviewed and approved by the expert team of the Municipal Cultural Relics Bureau; Special work: Organize and implement 3 protection projects of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, of which 1 organization has completed the inspection and acceptance, and 2 are continuation projects; assisted the county ’s cultural protection work: completed the "Relics Impact Assessment Report" of the Peixian Museum and the new museum of Suining County Museum Carry out cultural relics protection, dismantle the outer packaging of the Mingcheng wall bricks in the historical and cultural blocks of Huilongwo, and uncover the "Murals" entrusted by the Liguo Town Cultural and Sports Station; the daily cultural relics protection and restoration work in the museum: conservation and restoration of the collection of silver jade clothes, Pizhou Daizhuang Yang A total of 50 pieces (sets) of cultural relics, such as pottery unearthed from the mountains, pottery figurines from the Tushan Temple, and the Xuzhou Wei site, were uncovered.

III. Collection management

Regarding the standardization of collection management, in accordance with the actual situation of the library, standardize the cultural relics collection procedures, refine the general ledger management responsibilities, and form a mutual restriction and mutual supervision working mechanism for general ledger management and cultural relics management; perfect and improve the collection and removal system of cultural relics in the collection and handover system; Collectible management methods, standardize specific operations in collection management; formulate a cultural relics collection system, prepare for the establishment of a cultural relics collection committee; conduct random inspections of all cultural relics managed by the library administrator according to the requirements of the Municipal Cultural Relics Bureau.

Collect daily work. Complete the basic work of annual cultural relics account, storage, cataloging, management, etc., supplement and improve the information of 9,635 collection cards; complete the training of new recruits, and carry out 1447 pieces of handover work such as revolutionary cultural relics, miscellaneous cultural relics, and stone cultural relics. Successfully hosted the national Han Dynasty jade appraisal and identification training class, Jiangsu Provincial Museum Society Custody Special Committee annual meeting and so on.

IV, hold good cultural relics exhibition

In 2017, 10 public welfare exhibitions were held in the hall, focusing on the introduction of the annual exhibition "Empire Scenery-Special Exhibition of Unearthed Cultural Relics Unearthed from the Han Dynasty Emperor Yangling". This exhibition is an exhibition organized by Xuzhou Museum independently and co-curated with New York Huamei Association. This exhibition is the first solo exhibition of Xuzhou Museum in the United States. The exhibition will continue to be held at the Nelson Museum of Art in the United States from December 22, 2017 to April 8, 2018. In addition, two important domestic exhibitions were held and exhibited at the beginning of the year, including the "Pharaoh Wang" exhibition held by the Nanjing Museum for the cultural relics held, and the "Dragon Dance and Phoenix Dance-Unearthed Jade Art of Han Dynasty Princes" held by the Beijing Art Museum.

V. Grasping free and open work

VIII. Blow the horn of creating a national first-class museum

The creation of a national first-class museum has been included in the task of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government to support the construction of the central city of the Huaihai Economic Zone in Xuzhou.
